Late 2020, we were all well into working from home due to COVID-19. Us gamers were putting in more hours than usual...since there was nothing else to do.

We both play WoW (World of WarCraft) and were in the same guild. We began to play more with each other in October/November of 2020.

Drea was living up in Beaverton, OR and Deep down in Kyle, TX.

Drea found she really liked hanging out and just playing the game with Deep. They would chat in discord and do stuff with others in the guild.

Drea started following Deep around in WoW. Drea really just wanted to get to know Deep better and see if her curiosity was something more.

Drea used the guild discord and started a topic of "Real vs Toon Pics". Drea wanted to see what Deep looked like.

Drea was not convinced that was a recent picture Deep.

So next, Drea setup a guild zoom Christmas Happy Hour! And that was the first time Deep and Drea saw each other, digitally, in real life.

We continued to play WoW together and chat in game. Drea would ask Deep random questions to try to get to know him. Deep remained clueless.

In January 2021, Drea gave Deep her number in discord and said "if you ever wanna chat outside of the game.". Deep is still pretty clueless at this point.

Then a about a week later she finally worked up the nerve to tell him how she felt.

February 5, 2021 and it went a little something like this....

It took Deep couple days to realize that message was actually meant for him and was not a joke or typed to the wrong person.

A month later (March 2021) we met up in Dallas, TX when Drea came back to visit her family.

Here is our first picture together, the first day we ever met in person March 19, 2021.

All leading up to our recent ENGAGEMENT!

Deep proposed to Drea on Monday March 11, 2024, onboard Royal Caribbeans Harmony Of The Seas, Deck 8, in Central Park, surrounded by 16 members of our family and friends. Somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico LOL.

IT WAS PERFECT!

Next is the wedding! And we cannot wait! From our family to yours, thank you for all of your love and support and encouragement as we find our way together. It really means the world to us.
